又有好消息. 阿娇的婚礼定下了确实的日子, 刚刚邀请了我出席. 恭喜老爷贺喜夫人 =) Hmm... 他们应该已经注册了慢长一段日子, 已经是夫妻了, 只是还没进行传统的婚礼仪式. 说起阿娇, 她可是经过了风风雨雨才寻得真爱的, 如今过着幸福美满的生活, 有个疼爱她的老公, 可以算是不缺什么了. 王子和公主最后过着幸福快乐的日子...

I realized i have not been blogging for days, in fact i have a lot to say, i was just LAZY. Cos if i blog, i need to process a lot of pictures, bleh :P

Last Wednesday night, the Ascenders went Central for dinner @ Manhattan Fish Market. We celebrated the END-OF-SCHOOL. After dinner, Jerry left us, he went back to ofc to work. So, the remaining of us headed to The Pump Room @ Clarke Quay.


There was a live band which starts at 10:30pm. I would say there was quite a lot of mature patrons, erm, why the leader chose this bistro? :S But we had fun playing 5-10, i got so tipsy at the end of the day. Was suffering from a bad headache in the next day's morning, so i took half day leave to rest at home. Zzz...

This is supposed to be a picture intensive post. They should be ready this week, i hope :P

Friday night, meeting suki @Junction8, we watched the Oscar winner movie Slumdog Millionaire. I would say this is the first indian movie that i bought a ticket to watch from the cinema. And it is NICE =D We "MUAHAHAHA!", we "Oh No!", and we "Oh My God!" and we "Aiyo..." People, catch it before it is too late =)

After movie, we went Joop & Hypnosis for shopping. Heehee

Saturday, my sis came in to S'pore, this trip has been dragged and dragged, finally we made it :D After we've done what has to be done, we went shopping @ Orchard - Far East Plaza. She is student, of course i paid for her expenses. Oh no~ I'm broke -_- But once in a while is okay lar.

About 4pm, it was raining cats & dogs. We have to leave cos we have family dinner @Jb at 7pm, have to leave liao leh... So we shared an umbrella and ran in the rain. Still drenched in the end :( And the rain actually stopped very soon later, zzz... No luck. Bird came to pick us up from jb checkpoint. Luckily we made it on time, if not dad will nag.

We've got a 50% off voucher for a chinese restaurant in Mutiara Hotel, so we went back for dinner again. I forgot to bring camera, no pictures taken. If not for this 2 appoinments made long long ago, i would have spent the Saturday on a mahjong session with the Ascenders. HAHA.

Sunday night when we're back to S'pore, i realized i lost my keys to the flat we rented. Oh No~ This is very bad -___- How could it be? Since when i become such a muddlehead? Maybe it is the age's problem. I'm getting older and older...

Good news~ Hoonny is getting married. I'm so happy for her! I'm glad that she found happiness, and a place where she belongs. I'm going to miss her a lot.
No fear, i have a working webcam on my laptop, we shall meet more often!(provided i'm in good condition, and presentable, haha~) Deepest blessing to you my dear hoonny... =) 祝你幸福.

It is 2pm now. Do i feel reborn? YES!

We had our final year project presented yesterday afternoon. Everything ended in about 20 minutes time. 就这样, 结束了. This round, 5 of us didnt get to form a group, cos we need 6 ppl to form a 3 by 3 group. The A6 was formed by koky, jerry and me. We are the 超慢三人组. MUAHAHAHA~~~ But it was okay also lar, at least we know we will pass =)

It was raining cats & dogs too. We stayed back to wait for the A5. While waiting, we were chased out from the library. Duhz~ Library closes at 2pm on saturday -_- We went to canteen, yar, we have not had any food yet. I ordered the "fan choy", sth that looks like "lor mai gaai", i was laughed by them previously by not knowing there is such a thing in this world -.- It didnt taste very good lar, i still prefer lor mai gaai. The rain wouldnt stop. After A5 presented, the rain stopped, just nice for us to leave Psb. I carried 2 bags, one is the usual bag i carry to work (basically everywhere) everyday, the other was my laptop bag. According to Jeremiah: "我们最疼的就是你啦~", he carried my laptop bag for me =D 对啦对啦, 谢谢你们...

But why i carried my laptop bag to sch leh? Cos i didnt go to school from home, the A6 gathered at koky's room for a night before the presentation. Koky, 辛苦你啦~ He "un-set" his queensize bed to give way to a mahjong table, so that we can work on proj comfortably in his air-con room. Not working on mahjong okay, we used the table so that 3 of us can sit down together =) And very paiseh lar, last minute spot some bug and koky didnt get to comb his hair, we have to call cab and prepare to be late to school... He keeps complaining, i came out from my own house, but didnt get to set my hair?! Hahahaha... I also got oily hair oily face hor... =P

Graduating Ceremony shall be held at end of the year. I'm not sure too. Now, i can watch drama at night, i can surf net, play games... So frens, i'm free for meet up, look for me okay! =D

Ain't i lucky? I won 1000 coins lottery yesterday! :D I know many ppl have tio this 1000 coins, but this is the first time i got it, worth celebrating!

Met suki lastnight after work. heehee... We went Junction8 to buy something, and dinner @Sakae Sushi =D yum yum~~~ After that, we went to M|phosis cos it was having 50% - 70% Sales! =O We shopped till the shop closed, WOOHOOO. nice! But hor, we didnt managed to take any photo of us nor food nor shopping stuff. 真可惜! Both of us dressed up! Next time bah... For more details, read suki's blog.

We didnt go back to jb this weekend. Bird got to work, and i have an appointment to Jeremiah's house for 拜年 on saturday, so as well stay in sg to do project. The 拜年 photos are pending, i'm going to blog on my new shopping 战利品 first =)

Bird left home early in the morning on saturday, and back at 1am the next day. Poor thing! He said he finished all the work on saturday, so he no need to work on Sunday. So what to do on Sunday? We went Bishan Junction8 for lunch + walk walk. And i bought this dress i've always wanted to have one. WOOHOOO! I'm soooo happy, the size fits well!

Later, we went to Chinatown, i brought bird to try out the traditional dessert which LyLy, LieFong, KeowLin & i had visited before CNY. Read previous post: Weekend Summary. And he loves it =D Pictures processing pending, too, cos it is Monday 3:28am already, i need to go to bed liao~

一转眼, 又是一年. 今天是年三十, 除夕.
最近好忙, 我很不喜欢. 我的生活乱七八糟的. 星期一, bird接到通知, 他必须到KL去工作, 当天就要打包走人, 因为隔天就要报到. 关于这种临时通知的事, 我都很讨厌, 都不让人准备的, 本来计划好的事也全都要取消, 真讨厌他的老板! KL有那么多生意, 为什么不请个人驻扎在那里? 要我的 bird 每次这样赶来赶去?! 星期一, 我也要加班. 其实, 天天都加班... 忙. 忙工作, 忙功课.

星期三, 我忙里偷了闲, 拿了假在房间睡了一整天, 好不爽快! =D 放下工作放下功课, 还约了Suki 逛Far East! 收获是不错, HOHO~ 排除圣诞节在曼谷的血拼, 我还真还没为新年添新装呢~ 最后买了三样东西:
(a) 立体闪亮指彩一瓶
(b) 上身工作服一件
(c) 适合宴会又有点休闲的 tube dress 一件
总花费 $110. LOL.

今年我得好好宠宠自己, 今年好忙好辛苦. 我很庆幸自己还是单身, 想去哪里就去哪里, 钱也能说花就花(虽然说, 我很快又会没钱吃饭 -_-). 别看我很像很风光, 一年出国两次. 其实台湾之行, 我是用voucher 去的. 我不提, 很多人都忘记了, 我在去年公司的IS Function中, 抽到了第九奖 -- 价值一千新元的CTC Travel Voucher. 而曼谷, 是有点不想去, 可是又不能不去的啦, 因为和朋友说好了嘛. 刚好, 最后一期的学费又缴完了, 所以钱方面暂时度过难关 ;)

星期四, 很多人开始放假了. 我的user就是不放假! 天天有request, 天天烦我 -.- 连偷偷在公司做功课的机会都没有. 大老板又一直发很让人肚懒的 email 气我, 催我, 让我很想拔光他的头发. 说什么必须这样这样, 如果我不这样这样做, 他会很为难, 等下发生什么什么, 他没有办法怎样怎样. 最后叻? 还真的发生了什么什么, 他没有办法怎样怎样, 星期五, 大老板 email 问我, 如果成都的team 没有人有空 support 我, 我能不能自己搞定. 我自己写 DFS, 自己看自己写的 DFS, 自己搞定?!!! 我亲爱的大老板啊~ 我只不过是一个凡人叻... ...

星期四晚上又有课, 又为了工作迟到, 我什么时候变得那么重要, 那么多事情要处理了??? 一夜没睡, 因为得完成 500字的essay, 和MS Project 的作业. 星期五早上, 又得回公司加班. 对对没错是加班, 因为我拿了假! 工作做不完, 怎么安心过年? 赶完了工作, 就赶功课. 厚重的眼皮, 沉重的肩膀被laptop压着, 脚步都慢了, 像个老人. 一步一步慢慢拖着走, 才慢慢走回房间. 计划好晚上回新山的, 就因为我睡得像一具死尸, bird 怎么都叫不醒我, 才延迟到星期六. 说也奇怪, 死尸睡了两小时, 又恢复了体力, 开始每夜的活动 -- Facebook. 哈哈哈哈~~~~ :D

星期六, 和bird 去了 Clark Hatch, 我没有力气gym, 只是去 sauna + steam. 真舒服! 每次星期六去, 都没有人的! sauna room 和 steam room没人, 洗澡没什么人, 运动的人也不多, 真好! 过后我们去逛年货. 因为今年我得到bird 家去吃团圆饭, 不能两手空空. 选了Lavender 的 Cranberry Kuih Lapis, 一盒竟然要RM65. 我们要了两盒, 一盒他来吃团圆饭时带来我家, 一盒我过去时带去他家. 后来我们各自带了一盒回家, 真好笑. 我觉得一盒cake 不够体面, 想买肉干. 美珍香的猪肉切片半公斤竟然卖RM40! 才半公斤叻~! 需要卖这么贵吗? 行情不好叻... 我口袋的行情也很不好, 他们又只收现款, 所以我决定明天才买. 后来, 经过我的最爱-- Padini, 逛了一圈, 终于买了两双Vincci 的高根鞋. 别说我刻薄 bird, 我买了新的工作服给他 :P 身上没钱啊~ 只好用我的 Visa debit card. 套句Evonne 的话--花钱真痛快!

晚上, 爸跑出去找鱼生, 因为不懂那么早有没有卖. 后来, 爸兴高采烈的捧着鱼生回来, 我们一家五口就提早捞个风声水起. 我的晚餐就是两盘鱼生, 这次, 要不风声水起都难了, 哈哈哈哈哈哈.....

过去的这一年, 可以说是多灾多难呐. 世界不和平, 社会不安定, 全球经济大萧条. 我的生活乱七八糟一塌糊涂没有条理. 虽然说搬到了新加坡去住也有了 broadband access 方便很多, 我倒更是晚睡, 精神不佳. 方便变成了祸首, 助长我的惰性. 我希望新年新气象, 本人能长进多一点, 生活和工作顺利一点, 漂亮一点, 健康一点.

The past 2 weeks i've been very busy with work. Oh ya, school started, and our group submitted the FYP proposal last friday. There will be more and more stuff to be done later, so i dont have much time to spend on blogging. I dont wish to mention about work, i really dont! But HAIZ, the stupid DFS is killing me... I WILL(and i WANT TO!) finish it tonight so i can go for my CNY break without guilt.

The more stressed i am, the more i relax and do nothing. It is the blood inside me, i cant help it. I brought my work back on friday, cos i dont want to OT on friday! Keowlin, LyLy, LieFong and i went to chinatown for korean food, heee. After dinner, we went to the cny goodies market @ Gu-Cia-Zui (牛车水). Wow! Think i have not been there for about 10 years, omg, i'm old -_-
They brought me to try a nice dessert, which i have forgotten the name of the shop =P I had a wonderful night spent @Chinatown. Really.

First half of my past saturday was spent with my classmates, we had a project discussion held @AMK hub, hoho~ 2 of members stayed in AMK, Poor koky, from sengkang go where also not near lar~ heehee... Second half of the saturday was spent in Jb, we went to the Dr SOHO Foot, bird did a shoulder+back massage and i did a traditional chinese foot massage. I was told that my liver was no good, have to sleep earlier, and drink more water. LOL

Sunday (yesterday), bird and i went back to the same place, and we both did a foot scrub, remove dead skin. We need to do a check first, then determine the pricing. I was told that mine is a serious case, need RM68; but bird's cracking foot is not serious, only need RM45! WHY????? Cos i wore highheels, 长了茧, need more effort to remove; and i dont apply lotion at all, foot are cracked and dry -_- HAIZ.

We left Dr SOHO Foot happily with smooth and healthy foot, then come back to singapore liao~ But hor, i realised the guy scrubbed too hard liao lar, now one of my foot is painful leh... The originally cracked part is now "almost bleeding"! zzz...

So, what shoes to wear to work?

Finally i got it yesterday! Other than battery life cannot make it; and cannot customise message tone (mayb can but i cant find where and how to customise!); not much profiles i can switch (eg: outdoor / silent / meeting / office / home); i'm happy with the rest of the functions / features of this phone. Loving it! :D

2008年就快过去, 我赶在这年结束前做了好多事, 都还来不及blog, 年就要过了. 圣诞节, 和两位亲爱的朋友跟吗和妹在曼谷度过; 昨天跟佩臆晚餐; 今天中午同keowlin, lyly, evonne午餐, 然后跟evonne逛街, 我们一起做了一个express的manicure! 生平第一次! 傍晚才回家, 哈! 晚上当然是回来跟boy boy倒数咯~ =) 可怜的bird, 等下一点要出去工作, 老板真他X的没人性... (没错, 是一点, 1am)

新年将至, 我希望自己能有长进, 更宽厚, 事事顺利. 愿家人朋友们顺心如意, 平安健康.

I've been very very lazy since my last exam early this month. Doing nothing, but enjoying. No assignment, no school, but work piled up high. I've never stop posting photos on facebook, but never did any editing... LAZY!

Last night, i decided to stop being lazy before my sweet december ends, i did a scrapblog album =) Featuring the Eventful Saturday i just spent with suki, tricia, yong quan, and bird.

Suki, Tricia and i go in to Jb together on saturday 11am. Reach city Square at around 12:30pm and we went Kimberly for a "supposingly quick lunch to-be". After lunch, we send suki and tricia to Six Sense, let Stella do their hair. Bird and i went to gym. Very soon, yongquan reached jb, so we meet him and shop shop at my fav shop Padini. The guys become so ONZ, with my encouragement, they go into fitting room and try out some shirt. Bird then give me the car key and suggest that i should go to pick suki & tricia up myself, then come back to meet them for sushi dinner :S

Ok lor, i shall go alone. HOHO~ i was told that it is quite unbelievale that i can drive, cos i look very 斯文, thanks tricia =P

We love sushi, and we love ginger! (okay, maybe only tricia & myself love ginger) We cant help keep asking for more ginger :P
After dinner, i suggest that we avoid the traffic jam and bring the singaporeans to Danga Bay for a walk, and we send them home later. With suki and tricia along, i got companions and courage to take the Mary-go-Round ride! HOHOHO~ I enjoyed myself very much! =D And then, i suggested we ride the bicycle, hmm, a double bicycle, for 4 person. At first we got a spoilt one, no wonder it is SO hard to paddle -_- We went back for an exchange and was told that we can return it LATER ^-^

We decided that yong quan should be the one who steer. We were wrong, TOTALLY wrong, bad decision! We cant stop warning and shouting "yong quan! yong quan!" to wake the driver up from his dream, we almost bump into lamp posts, trees, human... -_- wad the hell is the driver's eyes focusing at... and we have prob avoiding the human where out bicyle doesnt equiped with a 喇叭. suki suggested we "ARHHHHHHHH~~~~" to scare them off, ... ... ..., pretty effective though -_-

We were exausted. But we had fun =)

Lei, Feng and I need to discuss on our BKK trip urgently. So we met on Monday, 8th Dec. It's sushi time again =)

藏 is totally CMI, very very few choices from the menu. We went at 12:30pm, and was told tat salmon was sold out!?? Who were they trying to bluff, we are almost the only customers -_- Out of no choice, we ordered 2 dishes and decided to test test then siam to second round!

They've been mentioning 二重丸 this jap restaurant for so long but we dont have a chance to go together. According to lei & feng, it is always fullhouse, you will need to queue and wait no matter you have reservation or not. It think we were lucky, it was a rainy day but we got a seat immediately =)

The food is not bad, and they have a very thick menu to choose your food. HOHO~

My conclusion is, Nippon Yattai Mura 2 still sells the best sashimi and sushi! Though their menu not as much variety as 二重丸 =D

顺便提一下, 阿娇是台湾国立政治大学研究所毕业的, 她一直是我们班的骄傲, 现在在星洲日报工作 =)

17th Nov (Mon), I attended my last lecture of year 2008. Finally, I am clearing my last module =) Submitted third last and second last assignment, the very last assignment is in progress, and last exam coming on 1st Dec. woohooooo! After 1st Dec, I'm freed! At least temporarily freed for the rest of the year, I can enjoy dear December =)

18th Nov (Tue), I missed my last tutorial for year 2008. was stucked at work till very late =( Nevermind, I'm still happy cos after clearing this module, I'll be left with Final Year Project in year 2009 only. ^^ yeah!

I'm waiting for my December long break, and my Christmas BKK trip with lei and feng, plus my mom and sis! Hoho, mom and sis joined in our travel plan, 5 of us will go together ^^ la la la~

病榻周末
刚刚过去的周末, hmm, 其实事情是从星期五开始的. 上个星期五早上七点半, 我被疼痛叫醒, 腹部绞痛. 也刚好是时候起床, 就像平常那样去洗澡. 可是身体很不寻常, 泻肚子了, 很严重的那种痛. 我脸青唇白的走回房间, 很晕, 又很辛苦. 把bird摇醒, "救我", 我记得那时我这样说. 后来我就一直跑厕所, 吐了五六次, 也泻了五六个回合. 中间是想去看医生的, 可是太晕, 根本站不正, 走不了. bird 说背我去. 说近不近啊... 后来打电话问诊所的医生能来吗, 医生说要等到中午! 好不容易下了楼, 上了taxi (很靠近可是没力只好叫taxi), 到了诊所, 我又吐了...

医生说, 很严重, 要打两针, 幸好我能来, 不然等到中午就... zzzz
量血压, 打针, 吃药, 然后在诊所小睡. 医生说, 打了针会想睡, 而且很快睡, 所以让我到一个房间休息. 如果情况没好转, 就要打点滴 (-__-) 昏睡后被叫醒, 原来是用那间房的医生来值班了, 我竟然睡到中午. 醒来时又吐了 -.- 还把药吐了出来. 七七撮撮买单回家, 还是搭taxi. 可怜的bird, 吓死他了, 还拿一天假照顾我 =)
后来我就继续泻, 睡, 泻, 睡... ... 泻肚子的情形连续了三天. 倒是不吐了. 前两天都没胃口, 吃得少, 照旧没力, 没精神.

因祸得福
Bird 看我很可怜, 为了逗我开心, 提早送了我早就买好藏好的生日礼物 -- Nintendo DS Lite =D 谢谢你! 我很喜欢 =) 就这样, nds 陪伴我度过周末. 玩累了睡, 睡醒吃药, 玩, 玩累了睡...

后记
本来我在28号拿了FFL (Family Flexi Leave)的, 现在我们公司让员工拿一天FFL, for 生日, 真好. 可是, 因为这病, 也因为nds, 我那1500-3000字的作业做不完, 只好取消了28号的假期, 改在星期一, 用来赶功课 -.- 真可悲. 至于, 为什么会食物中毒? 我也不清楚. 不过, 吐出来和泻出来的, 全是老爸从韩过买回来的紫菜, 星期四晚上吞进肚子的.

Initially, my plan was to ask Shirley out for dinner. She said tentatively meet on thursday, if tuesday can leave early then we meet on tuesday. Then i asked wakao when he really wanna come jb for sushi... Who knows so qiao, wakao meeting suki and tricia on tuesday @ sakae; and he suggested we go jb on the sunday b4 tat tuesday...

And so wakao, shirley, honsing, michelle and me met in jb for sushi. Tuesday, wakao, suki, tricia and i met @ Sakae - Citilink. Shirley couldnt make it, she had a diarrhoea and fever, thus cannot join us.

We love sushi. We love jap food! =D
